Lofts
We have experience in undertaking all types of extensions and conversions including both loft and basement conversions.
We can handle projects involving . . .
Temporary roof structures and up and over scaffolding.
Raising and lowering existing floor levels.
Major structural alterations.
Removing load bearing walls and complete restructuring.
These pictures show internal and external views of a small pitched roof
dormer with tiled fronts and sides to give a more conservative look. Inside
we installed a five piece bathroom, in what appeared on plan to be a small
area, but with some careful planning produced a well proportioned main
bathroom to this bungalow.
These photos show before, during and after a pair of full length front and
rear dormers, created with a tiled sloping roof as an alternative to having
a flat built up felt roof. Giving a better aesthetic look and extra
protection against weather. These dormers changed the upstairs floor plan of
the house from a single bedroom, to 3 double bedrooms, a large family
bathroom, storage/boiler room and a large spacious hallway which the clients
used to house their sauna. The fronts and sides of the dormers were finished
using small tiles in matching colour to the roof. White UPVC windows were
fitted with all fire escape windows on the gables, to keep the look desired
by the customers from the front. Extensive work had to be done to the gable
to form new window openings, as there was only one original window and we
needed to install 2 bays and a further fire escape on the first floor.
